		$500	Community Nurse: 1 Month's Salary Carmen Meza is the Shoulder to Shoulder nurse in San Jose. She takes care of the day to day needs of patients while also managing chronic medical problems such as diabetes and hypertension. Carmen does urgent care medicine and basic medical procedures that would otherwise be hours away and unaffordable to local residents. She has worked with World Vision in the past and wishes to serve those in greatest need. Carmen helps with pharmacy management and works with the village Health Committee to improve the community’s overall health.
